Smart Start! and Listen, Take Note! were designed for students preparing to take the annual English language arts examination administered by both the City and State of New York. The books were developed in accordance with, and strict adherence to, all current guidelines put forth by the NYS Department of Education.

Strategies for Success is our social studies test prep book designed specifically for students preparing to take the New York State Grade 5 Elementary Social Studies Test. The book was developed in accordance with the current guidelines put forth by the New York State Department of Education. With selected activities that also correspond with strategies needed for the fourth grade English Language Arts examination, the book is appropriate for use in grades 4 and 5.

As their names imply, Primary Source I and Primary Source II were designed to teach elementary and middles school students how to understand and analyze primary source documents. Review for Success, like Strategies for Success, is a text and review book for 8th graders preparing to take the social studies assessment test.  Poetry Power was developed to help elementary school students understand that poetry does not exist in some sort of artistic vacuum but rather within the context of language as a whole.
